  1. I’m a big fan of Golite packs too. I use my Pinnacle for everything.

    I’m not sure how you made your gear lists, but at http://www.cleverbackpacker.com you can create gear lists and it will automatically calculate the weights for you.

  2. Yeah, that is kinda weird. But I used the website’s claimed weights for the individual stuff but an actual scale measured weight for the total.
    I might should have mentioned that. But I was lazy and in a hurry…

  3. I agree its definitely worth weighing everything once it arrives. The listed weights are normally off a little. And you can save, sometimes substantial, weight by trimming off extra logos, straps, etc.

    I’ve got a digital fish scale that I use; it will go up to 15 pounds so it works for pretty much everything.
