Finally…
I passed my last FAA test yesterday. Whew… Glad that is over. My Oral and Practical Reviews are scheduled for early march, and I MEAN early. So I should have my license in hand by the time I am in NC! Yeah!
I am presently working out a spreadsheet that will work for anyone who wants to list out their gear and weights. I’ll post it for download or email when it is done. I’m not sure which one I can do on this site. But we shall see!
My Ursack should be here within the week and some tent stakes are on their way. Oh! and let me give a SPECIAL THANKS! to Ron and Mountain Laurel Designs! I shot him an email over the weekend requesting to purchase some of the line locs he is using on his new tarps. He got back to me rather quickly stating that he would gladly mail them to me at no extra charge as a “free upgrade”!!!!! Man that guy rocks! Great quality products made here in the USA for a great price at great weights and now great customer service! I am so glad that I chose to buy from him!
There is a review up for the Grace Solo Tarp I purchased from him, I love the thing! I was a tent only guy less than six months ago. This tarp made me a convert.
