My First Entry!!!!!
Hello out there Modern Wilderness!!!
I am writing primarily about what I think, test, and learn about my hike on the Appalachian Trail. I am graduating from my Aviation Technical college, Aviation Institute of Maintenance, soon and will not have the opportunity to have six months off again!
So I want to share with everyone what I learn from my mistakes and from my successes. I have a year to get ready for the trip. I will be leaving March 1st 2008. Once I have left Springer Mountain then this blog will become a communication/recording tool for me while on the trail. It will be a collection of my ups and downs and everything in between. I hope by then to have made several friends and gained many readers! So please feel free to leave comments and questions!!
